On September 14, the domestic light soda ash price was 2,411 yuan/ton, and the heavy soda ash price was 2,656 yuan/ton, both of which have increased by more than 80% this year. It is understood that, on the supply side, June to August each year for the soda ash industry traditional maintenance peak period. This year, from July to August, affected by the overhaul, soda ash single month to reduce production in about 300,000 tons, domestic soda ash producers inventory has been at a low level. According to agency monitoring, currently under the influence of energy consumption double control policy, some areas of soda ash manufacturers start load down, soda ash supply and demand relations continue to improve, become a stronger driver of the recent soda ash price rise.
