In the context of strong demand for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, the price of lithium in China continues to rise exponentially. In mid-March, battery-grade lithium carbonate has risen 88% since the beginning of the year to over US$12,600 per ton, the highest level since March 2019.
