In order to protect and rationally develop advantageous mineral resources, my country continues to exercise total mining control over rare earth and tungsten mines. The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced on the 15th that the national total rare earth ore mining control target for 2020 is 140,000 tons, and the national total tungsten concentrate mining control target is 105,000 tons.
According to the total mining control index issued by the two ministries and commissions, the national total rare earth ore (REO) mining control index for 2020 is 140,000 tons, of which the rock-type rare earth ore (mainly light rare earth) index is 120,850 tons. The index of ionic rare earth ore (mainly medium and heavy rare earth) is 19,150 tons. The national tungsten concentrate (65% tungsten trioxide content) total mining control index is 105,000 tons, of which the main mining index is 78,150 tons and the comprehensive utilization index is 26,850 tons.
