On June 9, Indonesian state-owned energy group Pertamina announced the latest situation of its oil refining and petrochemical projects in Tuban, East Java, Indonesia. The project is implemented by a joint venture between Pertamina and Rosneft. The land acquisition has been basically completed, land clearing is underway, and the engineering design has been completed by 30%. It is planned to be put into operation in 2026. Its refining capacity is 300,000 barrels per day and will supply fuel, liquefied petroleum gas and petrochemical products. The project will support Tuban to build a large-scale petrochemical project cluster.
