Longyi Lilian Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1955 as a sulfur mine in Jiaozuo City. It has been renamed as the state-owned Jiaozuo Chemical General Plant and Henan Yulilian Chemical Co., Ltd. In 2015, it entered into an acquisition agreement with Longsheng Titanium Co., Ltd. with domestic production capacity*, and acquired the equity of Longsheng Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. for RMB 9 billion to merge and establish Longsheng Lilian Group Co., Ltd.

On February 28, 2019, Long Yuli announced that it had recently negotiated with the German Titanium Company, and both parties agreed to sign the “Design, Construction, Operation Technology Transfer and Technical Service Contract for Chlorinated Titanium Dioxide Product Line”. The resulting legal disputes were settled within the original contractual framework. On the same day, it signed the "Intention Letter on Cooperation in Technology Transfer and Production Optimization" with the German Titanium Company (referred to as "Cooperation Letter of Intent").
