German chemical orders and production have fallen sharply

According to Anxun London on January 8th, the German central bank said on Tuesday that new orders and production in the German chemical and pharmaceutical industries fell sharply in November last year.
The Bundesbank’s chemical and pharmaceutical orders index fell to 103.6 in November from 109.0 in October.
Both domestic and overseas orders in Germany fell in November.
The order index for the industry in November also fell sharply from 109.9 in November last year.
At the same time, the chemical and pharmaceutical production index released by the bank fell to 97.9 in November from 103.1 in October. Compared with the same period of last year, the output also dropped sharply from 108.2.
The base year for these two indices is 2015 and is set at 100.
