Linde and Praxair sell more US assets

According to Bloomberg News, informed sources revealed that industrial gas groups Linde and Praxair plan to sell additional assets to Messer Group and CVC Capital Partners consortium to ease antitrust concerns and approach US regulation. The department approves the merger requirements.

These assets are said to be worth about $200 million, including three air separation units, one liquid argon contract, one carbon dioxide facility and two warehouses.

 

According to the German financial market regulations, the deadline for the completion of the transaction between the two companies is October 24
